Brooks Bouquet Scarf

Brooks bouquet is a lace technique worked by hand at the loom rather than by the shafts. I wrap groups of warp threads together as I go, which gathers them into small bunches and opens up the spaces in between.

It means I place every bouquet individually, so this scarf took considerably longer than a plain one of the same length. The blue merino silk keeps it soft against the neck, and the polyamide adds just enough spring to stop the lace going limp.
