Waffle weave pulls the cloth into small square pockets, which traps air and makes the blanket warmer than its weight suggests. It is the same structure as a waffle towel, for the same reason.
Woven in lambswool, 71cm by 55cm, which is pram and cot sized rather than for a bed.
