Passementerie Online Course with Elizabeth Ashdown

A very informative online course on Passementerie.
Elizabeth Ashdown was very in tune with the students' pace and adapted her teaching to each of us.We came from every corner of the world. Amazing to share the same interest and passion about Passementerie with people from the US, Switzerland and Australia.
My samples practiced during the lessons were so clearly explained, I was very pleased to achieve some results from the start.

- Scallop picot braid

- Mirrored Crete - one warp, two decorative wefts

- Interconnected Crete - two warps, four separate lengths of decorative wefts

- Fabulous fringe - two warps, two separate lengths of decorative weft and fringe

The lampshade I made earlier needed some addition for it to be complete.
I attached a Mirrored Crete (picture 2), at the bottom of the lampshade, which was exhibited at the 75th Anniversary of the Guild of Weavers, Spinners and Dyers , at the Morley Gallery last month.
I received many comments about how neat and professional it looked. So pleased!
